quite an exciting day off. bought an old table (chrome sides, green top, kinda 60s) for myself, and had to carry it from the little vintage shop to my home. three trips for four chairs, the leaf and the table itself. recruited my pal beta to help. she brought ian, my god son, along.

i love those tables with the chrome sides!!! me and my boyfriend found one in the alley. it was a bright sunshiny yellow, but too beat-up to be of any use to him or me.

so, the sun has set on my third day of vacation. slept all day.

yesterday, doc and i went to tacoma for lunch at gloria's southern kitchen restaurant. i love that place.

then we went to a shop called sanford and sons. tons of old furniture, bakelite handles, an $30k antique billiard table. when we walked in, they were unpacking a stagecoach! a real stagecoach.

work tomorrow. sunday/monday off. work tuesday. six days off. my first vacation this fiscal year (july to june). it cannot come soon enough.
