ha ha, that is exactly how i would have pictured nicholson baker, too. have you read Double Fold? he seems to have the librarian world in an uproar over it. i'm a pack rat, but also a pragmatist, so i'm torn between thinking that everything should be preserved and recognizing that space and funds just do not exist to preserve everything.
