SO just a general blog of things today.
I went to see the new harry potter, i thought it was ok. There was not a great deal of important plot in this film so it seemed to be lots and lots of nothing then all the 'action' right at the end. I quite liked this because usually the films have to cram so much in that they dont really have time for all the little bits and peices from the books that i like so it was quite good just wandering around hogwarts if you will!
Anyway still job hunting, have a lead which i think i will follow, its for a really really aweful job in retail and its only 20 hours a week but it will be money and i will be happier!
anyway we shall see how that goes.
I want so much stuff when i start getting money, i want some proper CDJ decks, a mixer, an amp, some better speakers (not in that order). Also im definately gonna finally get my Darwin Tattoo (i love the name darwin too, i might make it a childs middle name....planning too far ahead now)
THINGS I WANT TATTOOED!
I was watching a programme about Victoria Cross heros (it was called victoria cross heros), and i have read a couple of books on the subject. One of the guys who won two victoria crosses was a very cool man, he was a medic in the first world war and a very brave guy, and he died rather randomly by a shell hitting his station which is pretty sad after he was so brave for so long and didnt get to go home to his lady
But i remember he had a line on his gravestone which i always loved, i believe its a bible verse but that doesnt bother me. Im thinking of getting it on my back somewhere...Though im not sure...

NEXT im a big fan of Banksy (hopefully road trippin down to bristol this weekend to see his exibition there). I love his social commentry, his style, and i think he genuinely does some of the best grafitti i have seen (not that i pretend to be an expert on the subject of corse). Anyway i want this one somewhere...though i have printed a copy off and altered it so rather than wearing a cap it looks like he is wearing a hoodie, i thought it looked a bit more menacing, and also people wear hoodies and even the word 'hoodie' has become a by-word for public disorder and such so i thought it fitting...
Not sure where i could have this done, ideas?
And finally of corse my Darwin, which i want most of all, and on the inside of my left fore arm. I wish i had things i could sell to get this!
I have been listening to lots of the following bands...
*Ladyhawke
*Ladytron
*Chicks on Speed
*Dragonette
*Florance and the machine
*Kasabian's new album
*La Roux (just like everyone else)
this is my favorite song at the moment!

I've seen a lot of photos from the Banksy exhibit and it looks fantastic. Jimmy Carr wandered through it tweeting pics of practically everything. Hope you manage to get to go.
