I had a bit of a mixed weekend, but a good time was definately had in Preston on Saturday night with the fine company of catcher et al. He's the man, and I definately hope he doesn't get shot by an Israeli gunship chopper anytime soon. The night itself (Darkcide) was cool - and exactly the kind of pub backroom the goth nights in York are typically held in. Which was nice, and a bit of a nostalgia trip. I shall definately be returning.

The band stuff continues apace, we've decided to put out the full 5 recorded tracks on an extended EP. This will be more expensive, but our label is so keen to get a particular track out that we were going to drop that they've insisted. Who are we to argue? It's definately a more commercial track, so maybe it will garner some attention. We're going to secure the base recordings and add some nips and tucks here and there over the next few weeks. Maybe some tiny overdubs and effects, especially on my vocals. Gotta get that funky fresh Front Line Assembly sound after all.

Otherwise, life is mooching along fine. I'm ignoring the 8 hours of my day at work, which is so far a viable option. I've started playing The Sims again, which will slowly eat my time away for sure. And then there's Infest this weekend, at which I'm sharing a room with 4 lovely ladies. Just call me the pimp daddy, oh yeah.
