I am so sick of being used by people. Life really would be a lot easier if human beings just came out and said what they meant and wanted before causing confusion and stress to others. I've had rants about respect on this Journal before, and I'm not about to go off into another one. But for fuck's sake, why can't people just tell the truth right off the bat? Why do I have to scramble and pursue it, scraping away the falsehoods layer by layer until I have some idea of the reality layed out before me? Why is the truth a riddle formed from the half-facts and misleading statements that spew from the tongues of the self-righteous?
