Just got back from a few days in Sheffield, where I went to visit my friend Thom. It was really cool to just get away from Blackpool and have someone to cuddle up to - it's also always good to have someone interesting to talk to, part of the reason why we get on so well is because she is almost an exact opposite of me in every way. We hung out, ate junk food, watched Lexx (which I am now converted to), caught a film, burned music for each other and went to a folk gig. The folk gig was especially enjoyable due to the performance of the excellent Tegwen Roberts, who has the voice of an exquisite silken angel.

So now I am returned to Lancashire, penniless but in a much happier state than when I left. This week will hopefully consist of finding some employment followed by a trip to Lancaster at the weekend. Cheers to everyone who left comments on my last entry, it really does mean a lot even if I've never so much as set my eyes on most of you!
