Sick of my apathetic lifestyle, and have decided to get some dynamism in my life. Towards that end I actually managed to put down an entire wad of CDs I picked up in HMV today, which is something of an achievement for me. I swear I have some weird addictive disorder when it comes to buying music. I guess when you get over 1,000 albums buying less than about 5 CDs doesn't seem to make any mark on your collection. Yeah. That'll justify it, real good.
I got a random text from the head of our label the other day, telling me we were finishing the mixing on the album next Thursday. This was somewhat annoying. Don't get me wrong, I'm itching to get back in the studio - it's just that we're all in full-time employment at the moment and really require more than a week's notice on having to drag a day off from work. I'm not so bad, although I do have to cart myself over the Pennines to actually get to the studio. As it turns out, Moo (guitar god and my bezzie) couldn't make it so it's been cancelled. Just a mixed irritant really.
My uncle has just had to go into hospital for heart problems - nothing serious, he'll be ok. It just got me to thinking about health in general and my health specifically. My dad and uncle both have angina, my grandad died of a combination stroke and heart attack. I get random weird blossoming pains in my chest sometimes that drain all the breath from my body and leave me incredibly weak. My mum reckons it's really bad indigestion. Whatever it is, it's definately fuel for late-night insomnia-style bouts of paranoia.

No fireworks in the face... so no worries... although, I was crouched behind the bonfire taking photos of rockets and one of my brothers threw a "used" firework on the fire. To my excitement (and shock) it started exploding out wards... luckily in the exact opposite direction to me
I know how you feel on the paranoia... you should go to the doctors to have it checked out and just make sure...
