My Halloween was semi-interesting and also slightly disappointing. I got costumed up and went out with my friend Shaun and his housemate Lauren - the thing is, I liked what I was wearing but it paled in comparison to Shaun's ensemble. He went as Spongebob Squarepants, and believe me he looked the part. Check my Pics section for proof. The club was sweaty, hot and packed with no room to dance and no good music to dance to. Halloween at The Tache is by far their most successful night, and they pander to it with chart rock and 80s cheese. Bah. I look forward to later this week when I can return and force them to play evil tunes once again. In any case, I left after about 2 hours.
Saturday night was interesting. I was working, a busy night due to the beer festival and the presence of a rhythm and blues band. They were kind of fun, if a bit loud, and made the night pass quicker. However they traded that off for the fact that they played until HALF PAST TWELVE. It was a tribute to our determination to get home that we managed to finish clearing up by half one.
I think that's about it for interesting information at the moment... the rest of my time has been spent reading Robin Hobb and watching Family Guy ("Dear Diary - Jackpot!"). Opinions on the new profile pic anyone? I prefer it, although seeing my naked torso probably doesn't come with negative reactions to me. No nausea, sense of dread etc.

hey at least your halloween sound more entertaining than mine. i spent the night with my lights out ignoring obnoxious trick-or-treaters. i really have not been getting into the spirit much lately.
