And so Samhaine rolls it's merry way out again. Or Halloween. Whatever. I read an interesting section in some crappy British tabloid the other day condemning Halloween as a foul American practice, trick and treating etc etc. It was somewhat ironic that the article assumed trick or treating to be synonymous with Halloween while of course condemning those youthful hooligans who did the same thing. The writer spoke contemptuously of modern day pagans 'claiming' the festival as their own when in reality it was invented in the 1980s, apparently. What a well informed man. Journalism is truly alive and well and dwelling in a fetid swamp of fuckwittery somewhere in London.

If only Spider Jerusalem was real. He'd save us all from media bullshit with his words, the truth and a large rocket launcher.

In any case, I'm off out tonight in my costume to cavort the night away. Dancing will be kept to a minimum otherwise I will be utterly clogged with sweat due to the many layers of clothing my costume allows me. However, if some Will Haven gets played I may have to exhaust myself - having just bought their new DVD I am currently revelling in their evil noise.
