OK, so first things first - the new look SG site. I have to admit at first I was reasonably horrified by it all. It seemed all blocky and crammed and weird. But I have to say after only 20 minutes or so of clicking around I'm alright with it, it's definately a 'grower'. The things that are rearranged seem mostly to be for the best, and the crowding of features into single pages, while a bit cluttered, does cut down on time a lot. In fact the whole thing seems a lot faster in general. Only two complaints that have stuck:

1. My pictures seem to have been inverted numberswise. Not really much of a problem, especially since I doubt anyone actually looks at them anyway.

2. The art at the top. I know this is a subjective opinion, but it's pseudo-retro arsery. Bleagh. No offence to anyone reading this who, like, drew it or something. Back to stylish arty photos of the SGs, please.

In actual news - I'm ill. I have been struck down by a nefarious flu virus which reduces my existence to reading in bed, coming online and sweating profusely. For anyone following the thread of things, I managed to get a text through to girl and she hasn't replied. Which either means she's out of credit or can't be bothered apologising for standing me up. The only good recent event was getting back in touch with a friend I haven't seen or spoken to for about 3 years...
