So, we gigged last night. My god what a nightmare.

Nothing seemed to go right. We got to the venue on time, everything set up and all seemed to be fine until the sound check. One of the speakers to our PA system has blown, we discover this half hour before we go on stage.... god hates me. We finally managed to source some speakers for us to use, so 45 minutes later we were on stage. Then the best part, half way through our first set the power blew! Finally after more delay, we were back on stage finishing up.

I think at that point we were all so disheartened that we weren't really into it, we didn't seem to enjoying half as much as we usually do. This definitely reflected on the crowd because there like us they didn't seem to interested.

So today I am trying my hardest to get this speaker repaired for out other gigs this weekend. Hopefully they will go a hell of a lot better than last night.... Watch this space.

UPDATE: Got two cabs on loan for rest of weekend, ours being fixed Monday AM. Phew!!
