I see what you mean about UVJF; it has hard to watch. I would definitely recommend skipping the new one, which is even more disgusting, although it's better as a movie. I do recommend A Ma Soeur if you haven't seen it. If you don't like it, you can always blame me.

I agree with your comments about female filmmakers. It's really annoying when people try to monopolize "feminism"; I think Brelliat has as much right to the term as anyone else, whataver you think of her films.

My other question about French cinema: is Erick Zonca ever going to make another movie?

Pardon mon Franais mauvais. Wittig est vraiment intressant. Je connai Marshall construie au les penses de Delphy (travail invisible). Elle dit les hommes travaillent en la publique et visible. Les femmes travaille a priv? (nest pas publique) et invisible. Les hommes incorporent leurs pouses dans leurs travail (pour example Bush et Barbara Bush). La catgorie de sexe et politique est vraiment intressent Letat normalement a un monopole dans violence, mais nest pas dans homme-femme violence. Les points tards semblent indiquer un influence de Hegel et Derrida (et deconstructionism?).

I don't know that hill in Prague. I spend much of my time there in the Old Town. No local has really showed me around. Consequently, I only see what I adventure out to see and what I read about in various travel guides. I will be studying the language there in Spring of 2006 though. That means I will be able to see the whole student scene and live the Bohemian student lifestyle...

You have posted a number of very intelligent things on the boards by the way. I don't think the people you were arguing with caught some of what you were saying (for instance, when you asked them what a race was, or what a nature was). I personally don't believe in human nature either. What we always consider human nature is what we are conditioned to be by our social environment/system. Indeed, the same applies to all social relations, structures, and entities. I think, for instance, that it is "natural" to have democracy. Saddam Hussein, however, thinks it is "natural" to have a dictatorship. People think it is "human nature" to be greedy (in a capitalist society). This was not true for hundreds, if not a few thousand, years of human civilization. I applaud you on that insight.

Ah, thanks for asking! It was very nice. We went to Parimas(a great Thai place) in Burlington Vermont(where i used to live) and had some excellent food. It was a really fun time. After we went to the cd shop and bought a few cds, then we drove out of town to a lookout point that overlooks lake champlain and watched the sun go down while we listened to a cd(some dave mathews she picked out. i picked up a hammerfall cd) and i gave her a foot massage.(hehehe, i love the feet) all in all, it was a great evening. So great that I am hanging out with her again tonight.
