construction defect law is basicly law that centers arround problems with peoples houses or other buildings. Like if you buy a house and the roof colapses or something like that. We also handle things like roadway defects and construction claims, like someone who is hurt at a job site.

medical malpractice law is when someone in injured during an operation, the suit against the doctor that they bring. Many of these suits are frivoulous, because doctors are not mirracle workers, although people expect them to be. Most lawsuits brought against them are people who are angry because doctors could not make them perfect again, or someone dies on the operating table. THese things happen though, through no fault of the doctors (usually.) PEople just have trouble accepting it.

To practice law most everywhere require a JD degree (Juris Doctorate) as well as admission to the bar (the name for the group of attorneys) in the jurisdiction you practice in. Every state here has different requirements to practice. To get a JD requires three years of law school after 4 years of undergrad. No accredited law schools will accept you without a BA or BS (the american undergraduate degree) SO thats it in a nutshell. Did that help?

Aw, I hope your dog feels much better very soon.

Please take lots of photos in Japan and post them so we can all stew with jealousy!

Too much work, little depressed so I copy paste a post I wrote for the feminist group.
Discussion is about New Zealand as the most feminist country is the world because women led the country.

As you might have guessed, I had my post translated by a friend... it was getting too frustrating for me not to be able to express myself correctly!

First off,...

A spare tire is what you keep in the trunk of your car in case you get a flat tire. But it's also another word for the sort of belly you get from drinking beer, which kind of looks like a spare tire around your waste.

Hi Ms Mathilde, and welcome back.

I'll keep asking difficult questions as long as you're happy to keep taking the challenges wink

As always, I will try to ensure I'm comprehending what you're saying because I can only imagine how hard it is to debate in a language other than your first. kiss

I will try to explain to you how French suburbs are born.

After WW2, France needs to be rebuilt. She makes come people from our colonies for this task. It is very important during the 60s.

After War of Algeria, lots of pro-french Algerians came in France too.

Before WW2, 50% of French people lived in rural areas. After WW2, majority of French people lived...

Thank you. Yes, that was the cemetary. I took a lot of great pictures there.

I don't think I am going to make it to France this year though. I am going to at least see Britain, Russia, and Germany though.

I'm very interested in everything you are saying. smile

Some media told us young people in France use Internet to organize riots.

I have made little searchs and find the blog of a young man from suburbs. He doesn't organize anything but he is what I describe in my last post.

The firsts pictures we can see on these blogs are cars. They begin with poor cars "the most beautiful car in the world"...

I really appreciate explaination of the rioting in your country and the causes of which i know have many layers and which are not simple. It's good to hear from someone who is nearby. There is not much on the TV here which is very helpful.

I hope you are safe and things calm down soon.

Today, I will speak about french riots.

It is hard to explain even in french. It is absolutly true there is racism, discrimination against people from the 3rd generation of immigration in France. In France when your name is Mohammed, you don't find a job.

But we have to take attention these young people have no politic revendications.
My generation (30 years old) was more...

I saw the Eiffel Tower, the site where the Bastille was, the Louvre, the Pantheon, Notre Dame de Paris, and the famous cemetary where Jim Morrison is buried. I also went to some bars, like the Mannequin Pis and the Ten Bar. It was wonderful.

I am sorry!!! I feel horrible that you were so upset by that. Seriously, I never intended to cause a problem but, look how it snowballed. I'm probably the most civil person I know. I wasn't trying to offend you Mathilde. In fact, I didn't even know you were french, or a woman for that matter, until after the fact. I just remarked that I thought you were drunk and I offended you. Hell, I don't speak any 2nd language so I give you props on that. You are more worldly than myself. I hope you enjoy your weekend. Please.....don't talk about committing suicide because i'm an idiot. frown frown blackeyed skull

Almost one year since I post my last entry. So what's up ?

I went in NYC in july. New York is nice but so noisy for a parisian girl. The topography of the streets creates car traffics all around.

I knew we coudn't smoke in bars or restaurants but I thought I can smoke in my hotel room or in terrasses. So my first...
