Heya! Sorry, just got round to replying to your message about places in London...
Well- Camden is always a good place to start, plenty of shopping. Cro Bar is a fave haunt as well as the Intrepid Fox for places to go out drinking. Also 'Garlic and Shots' is cool.
If you fancy a quiet coffee I love Coffee Cake and Kink in Covent Garden.
Just google any of them and you can get locations and maps off the net.
Most of Central London is good, it just depends if you want the touristy bit or the more local flavour.
