Recently, I was involved in a debate about PETA. The usual crap, propaganda this, propaganda that, with no real point. No point, that it, until someone accused me of being high-and-mighty about my meat consumption. I think they should have thought a few things through. I eat meat, yes, but that's not the real reason PETA supporters should have a problem with me. I am a leatherworker as well, and I do the occasional fur piece. I don't attempt to justify my actions, saying basically, "Yeah, AND?" to those who would attack me for it. If I had felt like trashing PETA and its supporters truthfully, I would merely have mentioned that I'm a leatherworker and taken a fighting stance to defend my position against all comers. My involvement in this most recent debate was to assume the role of a smartass, and jsut post links to other debate commmentary that sounds just as annoying as the usual PETA trash. I hadn't thought about this until the thread was driven to the point of just plain being retarded, but I decided to track down the video for the Arrogant Worms' "Carrot Juice is Murder."
