Rockin' out and getting ready to go out. My knee is still swollen. Nothing a few drinks can't fix. I jut got back from the pool, where I noticed girls looking down from the second story jogging path at me, the only one swimming. Too bad they were just getting out of the afternoon chub club aerobic session. I just kept breathing and pulling, damn legs were worthless.
It's funny how some people always think they're right. Even when presented with contrary evidence they turn away, dismissing it as some ruse. Like I really care what they think or have time to worry about it. Or maybe I do. I actually don't like to debate anyone. I even give in when someone just likes to start shit. But today I had to make an example out of someone, and damn it felt kinda good saying "We're not having this talk again...."
Anyone who's ever been younger than the majority and in charge has probably had these challenges. Luckily in my field management is a small portion of the job. I just perform well and my work speaks for itself. That's the pecking order. It's a ladder you can climb at will, at anytime, no asskissing helps. You just better know what you're doing.
