My new year's resolution is to downsize. Consolidate. Need to sell these boats; keep only one. Need to find a smaller place. Maintaining two acres gets old. I need to find a girlfriend. But that can't be a resolution. More like she has to find ME. I want a newer house but I am so goddamn picky I don't know if I'll find one. I want no vinyl siding. No chipboard whatsoever. I want no shingles, tar and sand is meant to be temporary. Clay tiles in the Med have been around for hundreds of years. I want radiant heat. These things aren't mainstream, but also aren't that much more in cost. I'd gladly pay the difference but the major builders around here don't even offer it, or if they do they add a serious premium. I want to finish out my own interior, because looking at the shoddy workmanship of others everyday would cause me to get an ulcer. And I have to have a workshop. A jacuzzi would be nice. So it seems like a full plate. But then again I've always had a big appetite. Happy Amateur Night.
