Yesss. I burned half of my hand by accidently waving it about six inches above a hot electric stove burner. So now almost my entire hand is slathered in a prescription cream and wrapped up; I got some prescription painkillers, too. Note the word prescription? Yeah, I had to spend $65 on a doctor's visit to get them. They made me get a tetnus shot, too. Kriston doesn't like shots. I spent $35 on the prescriptions, too. Found out my employee discount works on them, too, woo! I need insurance, rah.

So there's $100 down the drain, I'm missing work, too. Then I have an exam at Planned Parenthod on Friday so I can get birth control. The estimate for that is between $150 and $300.

I wasn't going to get anything professionally done with this burn, but the pain almost made me faint as I was getting ready for work.. >_< This is the first time I've ever called into work.

The pain pills they gave me have codiene in them. Last time I took codiene it made me hyper, haha.. I 'm feeling faint again, though. Maybe typing this all one-handed is taking too much out of me.
