Okay, I've never really taken the time to talk to anybody about what happened two weeks ago, when I broke up with my girlfriend, etc. And I feel like talking about it now, so I'm going to. Read at your own risk. 
I've known Mage online for about four years, we met on a chat client called The Palace (both of us have since deleted it and sworn never to go back). The thing about The Palace is that it's visual, you have avatars representing you in rooms, etc.. so it feels more like real life. And I was sucked into it during my high school years. (I had just moved to an overly conservative, etc, place.. they looked at me funny. ) So.. The Palace WAS my high school years. Drama "boyfriends," etc. I met Mage and we found out that, whoah, we only live about three hours apart (if you go the speed limit, hehe).
Over time I developed an e-crush on him. Never told him, or anyone, I thought he was 'better' than me, why would he think anything of me? Right? We both grew away from Palace, saw less and less of each other, I met my exgirlfriend, etc.
Then, a couple of months ago, when I was feeling that my relationship with my ex.. just wouldn't work) I realized I needed something: a friend. A real friend that I could talk to offline every once in awhile, so: I messaged Mage. "Yo, we should meet. We live too close not to.
" and his response was something of the "Yeah! Why haven't we already?!" sort. So we started.. trying to plan (we're both REALLY indecisive people). Therefore we were talking a little more.. and I grew more comfortable talking to him (yes, I am shy online.. why do you think I'm not involved in the SG community?). I started realizing that, hey, we have a lot in common besides The Palace.
So we finally met on December 6, about two weeks ago. And.. wow. The sparks just flew. In the words of sickboy1945, "there is soemthing about her/(him) that feels comfortable and gives me that nervous feeling inside." It's wonderful. We've seen each other every weekend since.. and I hope to continue doing so. Believe me, deciding to date was NOT the easiest thign to do. We both had a lot of baggage, he had to break two other hearts (even though one of them is quite annoying.) and I had to lose a friend. One person has told me they always saw this coming, though. She told me she always knew deep down in her heart that we'd be together. Suprised the fuck out of everyone else. 
So much about me has changed since we've met, and I believe it's all for the better. I'm stronger now, I care less about certain things, I care more about improving myself.
