Insomnia.
Just another thing to add to my ever-growing list of psychological burdens. It's 4:30am and I'm laying awake on the couch watching Adam Sandler movies. I went to bed just before midnight but by 2:30am it was pretty clear to me that sleep was going to be particularly elusive tonight, so here I am!
I actually don't feel tired at all, which is bizarre for me because normally after spending all day chasing a toddler around the house I'm out cold by 11pm. Before my daughter was born, I'd easily go two or three days at a time without sleeping, but sadly I no longer have that kind of staying power.
To make matters slightly worse, my boyfriend will be up for work in less than an hour, so even if sleep did feel like coming sometime tonight, there's no chance of an extended morning snooze for Massakre
And on top of that, I have to go to the out later on this morning and I'm 99% sure that I'm going to look like a heroin addict, which is so not a look I can pull off.
Anyways, Anger Management just finished and I'm thinking of breaking out the Mr. Deeds DVD next, so that's all for now.

UPDATE: It's now 7:30am and I'm still awake hehe, but kinda just accepting that I've pulled an all-nighter and that's that! Plus I've got kitties curled up on my lap which is adorable

Sucks that you are having a spell of insomnia. I know how that is. And usually a good toddler run would help but maybe a good run or exercise would help burn off some energy.
