mad Some fuckwit broke the passenger's side window of my car to steal the $3.00 in change in the change holder while I was in rehearsal last night. Now I have to go spend $250 on a new window! More later. mad

Details as promised: Well, on the plus side. the window only cost $165 dollars to fix and the theif left me 30. So I'm only out $164.70.

I still think he or she should've left me a flashlight, damn it.

The last time someone broke into my car this way was behind my house a few years back. I had left my fianc's discman on the seat and he or she took that. However, I had stepped on said discman earlier in the day and it no longer worked. Thus, it was no longer pawnable. The theif also left a perfectly useable yellow flashlight on the seat. I think he or she actually lost money on the transaction tongue , but I still had to pay to get my window fixed.

Due to this happening to a couple of us in quick succession, we ended up carpooling to karaoke last night where...I didn't get to sing. Eh? Only one of did, although she got to go twice. I think the hostess lost our slips or something. Admittedly, she was having to deal with annoying drunks all night (they could sing - mostly - but were a giant pain in the ass when the song was over), so she was probably a bit distracted. However, since I'd gone to karaoke to show the world that I was going to have fun, damn it, in spite of the busted window and having to work at 5:15 am the next morning, the evening was a bit of a flop. A friend paid for my beer unexpectedly, though, which was nice. He was also the best chauffeur ever. He was the ideal stunt boyfriend (my fianc didn't come with us) for the evening; he bought me stuff AND drove me around. He didn't haven't to hold any of my stuff, though, becuse I brought my purse with me and we weren't in a club where I'd be wearing something skimpy with no pockets anyway.

Then I came home and didn't sleep for more than 15 minutes at a stretch for the three hours until I had to get up for work. Welcome to whitewidow's world, I guess. My alarm didn't go off but, due to the waking up every fifteen minutes anyway, I got up at 4:30 am just like I was supposed to.

After work, I took the car in to be fixed, checked the mail, then came home and had a nap.

smile We're having fun, right? confused

Additonal note: It's all cold and humid and British out today and consequently, my hair is HUGE!
