Well, Kink night was fun. Went with danny_g and a few of the other Scorpio folk. Ran into char1es, although I somehow managed not to see Rin. Sorry! I went in my cheerleading outfit from high school. Well, most of it. The top is a sweater and there was no way in hell I was wearing that! I'd've died of heat exhaustion. I wore a camisole instead. The pom-poms were popular. It turns out they're a combination of a lot of tiny whips (if you're standing really close) and air conditioning (if you're slightly farther away). My fianc actually came too, for the first time in a while. And it didn't result in any foolishness, either.
I also learned, in the process of getting dressed, that he hasn't seen the cheerleading uniform more than once or twice. It, therefore, had more of an effect on him than I was expecting.
Rehearsal today was excellent fun. We learned to waltz. However, it was very, very hot. I quite enjoyed the dancing, though, as always. Beer afterwards was much less hot and let us get the new guy up to speed on all the group back story. Well, not all of it, but some of the major bits.
My fianc and I are heading off tomorrow night to Invermere for the rest of the week. We'll be back on Sunday. The in-laws will only be there for the last day and a half or so. Sigh. We're also hoping to come back with (drum roll) an actual wedding date. Will wonders never cease?

I was not looking forwards to replacing everything in my wallet though. It's the things I couldn't think of that were the worst though! Thank God it was just forgotten on top of my computer at home!
