What to Bring:
Two contrasting monologues totalling no more than five minutes in length
Synopsis: D'Artangan seeks a life of honour and glory serving France as one of the King's Musketeers. Cardinal Richelieu seeks to serve France by putting and end to the treacherous Queen. D'Artangan joins with legendary Musketeers Athos, Porthos, and Aramis to defend the Queen, while the ruthless agents of the Cardinal will stop at nothing to bring her down. Is serving the Monarch the same as serving the country? And what price must be paid for honour? Scorpio Theatre proudly presents a thrilling new drama from Calgary playwright Ben Blue, directed by critically acclaimed actor/director Aaron Conrad.
Cast: Nine adult males and four adult females. Ages vary from youth (could even be played by someone under 18) to middle age.
Rehearsals will be Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons starting in January.
Performance Dates: Wednesdays through Saturdays, March 15th, 2007 - Saturday, March 31st, 2007
