I don't understand what the big deal is about Instagram. You take a picture, maybe add an effect, then post it so people can comment on it... Everything else has this capability yet Instagram is celebrated for it! Smart phones have the ability to add effects to pictures before you post it on say Facebook so people can talk about what you just saw. There are free apps for all phones that can add more effects before posting pictures on the many, many sites everyone is subscribed to so you can discuss them. I've never actually used this program before because I just use my phone camera and post pictures (rarely). Maybe I'm missing something I guess.
