So anyone who went camping will remember how we got harrassed by the border patrol. Well, I think I am a magnet for harrassment.
We went to MEXICO (OJ) yesterday and had us some margaretas and I bought some tequila. On the way back we went through the border crossing people (Mexican and US) and everything was cool. We are just cruising around betweem these little ghost towns near the border (Terlingua, Shafter, Lajitas) and I get pulled over by a state trooper. Luckily I just get a warning. Then we decide it is time to come back to Alpine. As it turns out, there is ANOTHER border patrol place between Terlingua and Alpine. SO I stop and I guess I am the random car (although I don't think it is that random) to search. They have us step out of my car and bring the dog over. Then the dog indicates that there is some contraband in my car (which I know there isn't), so they bring over more border patrol guys and they ransack my car and find nothing. In the end, they let us go but my friends and I are convinced they just wanted a piece of eye candy for 20 minutes...BASTARD BORDER PATROL GUYS...
he he oh well, at least we didn't get caught with anything.....
