I arrived in Krakow, Poland last night at 8pm. I was soooooo tired. It was an 8 1/2 hr train ride. Blah, I hate long train rides. Ended up going with an Aussie that was staying at the hostel in Prague and is staying at the same hostel here. He's pretty cool. We were starved when we arrived, having not had a proper meal (look at that, those Brits, I'm talking like them now). We ate at a nice resturant. I had potato pancakes with mushroom sauce on them. MMMMMMMMMMM
It was raining when we arrived last night, and all day today too. Krakow is cool. Polish people are really nice. Krakow has the largest city square in all of Europe. It used to be the capital of Poland.
Want to know the cool hairstyle for guys my age in countries like Czech and Poland? It is the mohawk and the mullet combined....really funny looking, but it is all the rage!
So I am torn now with a decision to make. I have changed my itinerary and have some free time, and i'm not quite sure where to go. Here's a couple of options I have thought about:
1. Go to Denmark, stay there for a few days then take a ferry to Norway and stay there for three or four days. Sounds really cool, the only problem is that Scandanavia is really expensive, but I'm doing pretty good with my budget so I think I could go up there for a little while.
2. Go to northern Italy in the Alps, because I have only been to Rome and Naples.
What do you think?
