Oh yes it is hot. Not as hot as I imagined. I wasn't suprised with the heat in Italy or Greece, but being up here in Czech and Austria, northern and all???? I have now officially adjusted I think. Getting used to the no airconditioning. You should
savor the airconditioner, and think of me....sweaty and stinky. I bathe every day but still end up really stinky by the end of the day!
If only you knew how hard it is to type right now, but I will get into that later.....
The last few days have been kinda chill out days. Yesterday I woke up early and hopped a train for a daytrip. I love the idea that I can just wake up and don't have anything special or necessary to do. Anyways, I went to Hallstatt, about 2 hours away. It was MAGNIFICENT, actually the whole train ride was wonderful!!!!!!! After I got off the train, I had to take a boat across the lake to the small town built on the side of a mountain. One of the cool attractions about Hallstatt is the beinheus *bonehouse*. The church graveyard is sooo small that they decided to do something, so they built the house. After being buried for 10-20 years, they dig ya up and clean your skull and paint your name, date of death, and a pretty picture. So the house is just filled with neatly stacked skulls. Cool, huh? *even if you don't think so you have to admit it is right up my alley*
After my daytrip in the morning, I met up with one of my roomies for a relaxing afternoon on Fuschl am See *a lake.... See means lake in german*. It was really awesome background, and the water was kinda chilly, but bearable. So I'm just chillin' on the shore when the bad thing happened to me that made it hard to type.... Any guesses?????
I felt something fall in my hair and decide it didn't need to be there so I took my right hand to take it away and what do you know, it was a bee! That's right I got stung on my right index finger and it is still pretty swollen. Funny thing is that has actually happened to me before at school. Those darn bees!!!
I am in another cool chill town right now. Cesky Krumlov, Czech a medevil town on a river with lots of water sports and the second biggest castle in all of czech!! As I am typing this my fav. Rolling Stones song is on, just blasting from the office....Angie..
I'm going to take it easy today because of my finger which still hurts and I spent half the day on the train. I had to change trains three times!! Luckly none of the trains were late and I made all my connections....
Well, enough for now....
