It is like 7 am and I can't sleep. Baaah. Yesterday I went to Pompeii. That place is sooooo big, I walked around for 5 hours and didn't see it all. It was very, very HOT and little shade, but I still enjoyed it. It was spectacular to think about those people that just got buried in ash and had no time to react. There was amazing art and sculpture still there. They even had the bodies that were covered in ash on display there. They even had the remains of a brothal there, complete with stone beds and erotic art! Today I am going to the beach. I will take the ferry from Napoli to an island called Ischia. Supposed to be less touristy than the island of Capri. Tomorrow I leave for Bari, Italy to catch an overnight ferry to Patras, Greece then a train to Athens. It will be a long ride there, but I am excited....
