Yesterday I went to the Vatican, I just went into St
Peter's Bacillica. It was pretty religious and
touristy.
It is interesting trying to get around with no
Italian, but i'm working on it. Not to much problems
so far. Most people are nice except Italian men will
hit on anything that moves, kinda funny you just got
to keep walking. Haven't used the phrase book that
much, but glad that i had it for those few moments.
I'm in Naples now, like it much better than Rome.
Roma is very dirty. It is HOT here, but I'm coping.
There is a nice cool breeze of the ocean though. Got
a little sunburn today (ouch!!!) The metro in Naples
is MUCH better than the Rome metro. I've almost
perfected trying to navigate a new city (busses and
all). Quite different from boring ft worth-dallas.
This is a really cool hostel called Hostel of the Sun
Capri and if you walk 5 minutes away you have an
excellent view of Mount Versuvius (AWESOME), this
place is right on the ocean. Today I went to the
Archeaology Musuem here and it was amazing. Going to
Pompeii tomorrow, going to bring the sunscreen. So
far, I've eaten gelato every day
