Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes
This weekend for my birthday we went out to Dinosaur Valley State Park and went swimmin in the river...That was Spike's first water experience...She hates water, but I made her get in anyways...So for the first 30 minutes I tried to coax her into coming to the deep part, but she refused to go anywhere where her feet couldn't touch the ground...So I gave up and let Jason watch her while I swam in the deeper part of the river...and sure enough, she followed me out there with Jason in tow...It was sooo cute! It reminded me of actual parents teaching the children how to swim for the first time! Awe! She still got out the minute we let her, but I think it is a babystep...I am hoping she will love the water with time...
