Hi SG fam,
how have you all been? It’s been too long since I did a proper update here. I went to Paris, Milan and Venice in March and came back to work in early April for my 39th birthday and by the end of my birth month I broke 2 fingers on my right hand which happens to be my dominant hand.
It’s been a month since I had surgery and so far it seems to be healing, but it’s put a halt on editing more sets, and doing all kinds of my art except for new ways of painting as I felt I needed to express without much explanation.
I’m also moving within the Bay Area still but as you may imagine it’s a pain considering I can mostly use my non dominant hand
I wish the world was not feeling like in a dumpster fire, but I’m glad I’m still able to have my day job to help continue supporting to the extents I can my family abroad. My mom has been living with me and my husband for 2 years so I can definitely say I’ve felt very at peace knowing I at least have gotten 2/3 of my family out of the dumpster fire that Venezuela has not been able to stop.
I have no summer plans due to the hand and physical therapy to come, if anything I just want to get back to pottery soon and creating art for arts sake or feelings, if you know what I mean.
How have you been? Do you have any summer plans?
Xoxo,
Marysa
PS: I have a set with @butterflyandmarishka dropping tonight, I hope you give her all the love, we shot it last year in Tampa, Florida even though I met her in 2020 in Nola before the world shut down for the pandemic, can you believe it’s been 5 years since that happened already?
Anyway @butterflyandmarishka is lovely and has th-e asset 👀👀👀👀🍑😻 so you should see for yourself, she’s the babe next door for sure, she’s sweet and warm and is just incredible, I wish there was a way photos were like holograms were you get to also interact with the person (I know that could be a live video but I guess I can’t truly explain what I imagine better atm)
Anyway, much love to you all 😘
