This year has flown by so quickly.
I wasn't sure if I had written just yet about my not-so-recent endeavors in pottery.
If you have been reading my blog in the past year you might know, last year in the fall I quit my job suddenly due to an unhealthy environment. It was then that I probably dove deeper into my ceramics journey.
I had never done ceramics until last summer when I finally signed up for a class at UC Berkeley community art studio and realized doing ceramics calmed my mind and made it go silent as I created new pieces.
So after all the stress that made me quit, of course, making my mind quiet down a little bit was very helpful and so I created non-stop until around April right before I flew to Venezuela to pick up my mom.
These are some of my favorite pieces from last fall. I haven't shot my spring pieces yet but should very soon.
