Hi SG land <3

I hope you all are starting to see the lovely signs of springs here in the northern hemisphere, it is probably one of my favorite seasons. I finally found some time and it's been 18 months since I became a Staff Photographer 🎉🎉🎉 so here's a Lil questionnaire so you all can get to know me a bit better.

1. 1. How long have you been a photographer?
3. A: I've been shooting since around 2009 weddings/events but as a hopeful photographer since 2012 and became a Staff photographer in 2019 🎉
5. 2. Why did you choose to pursue a career as a photographer?
7. A: I was lucky my dad was into tech gadgets in the 90's so he got our first digital camera back in the early 2000's (the one that used mini CD's 😅) and then it began, I eventually went to school for graphic and design and got my first real camera. I like the idea of documenting life from everyday life to special moments and moments when we want to feel special ;)
9. 3. Besides photography what are your interests/hobbies?
10. A: I love photographing with film, drawing, painting, and sending mail to friends out of my current city (pen-palling) so I can use a bunch of stickers and washi tape ^_^, love traveling, baking or visiting bakeries, going to the beach and being in nature.
12. 4. What are your 5 favorite SG shots?
13. A: This is a tough one. In no particular order
14. @jenni in Me llaman Calle this woman is fire but also such a kind soul <3

16. @sash in Be good blue I was soooo excited to shoot Sash, she makes it so easy and we had such an easy-going time shooting this set. Everybody I was going to shoot this weekend literally canceled last minute but Sash ❤️ and we made a magical set.

    @arson in Magnifique - I had just met Arson the evening before, she is stunning and so kind and it felt as I had known her from long ago

    

    @hedona in Tattooine Hunt - Hedona is such a spunky cute babe and her creative powers for cosplaying are also amazing, I found this crazy location that can be accessed during low tide so we shot quite quickly before the tide went back up.

21. 5: Which is your favorite lens? Why?
22. A: Currently in love with the 24 - 70mm 2.8
24. 6. Whose work has influenced you most?
26. A: Here on the site it's got to be @cherry and @alissa out of this site I love seeing Vivian Maier's photo work. There's so much content
27. out there nowadays.
29. 7. What one superpower would you want and why?
30. A: Teleporting would be awesome so I can travel quickly to places I want to be, like visiting my family abroad or seeing special places on my weekends off.
32. 8. What kind of gear do you use?
33. A: I currently shoot with a Nikon Z6ii
35. 9. What is the most rewarding part of being a photographer for you?
36. A: I love when the models see the photos after we shoot and feel confident, beautiful, empowered. It makes me feel so happy to make them feel as gorgeous as I see them. Connecting with someone to share and create a vision is also very rewarding.
38. 10. What kind of tools do you use for post-processing?
39. A: I use Adobe Bridge and Photoshop with a Wacom tablet for photoshop
41. 11. What does photography mean to you?
42. A: Showing others my perspective in an image + capturing memories.
44. 12. If you could time travel, when/where would you go?
45. A: Maybe somewhere before 1998 to warn my country of the dictatorship that was coming or before 2006 to see my dad again and ask him for a lot of advice regarding adulting and our family.
47. 13. What is the most difficult part of being a photographer for you?
48. A: Being hypercritical with myself, in ways I like shooting film because I don’t get to nitpick in the computer afterwards so it’s a bit freeing. In terms of working with others not having sometimes expectations clear for both the model and you as the photographer could make things complicated.
50. 14. What makes the good picture stand out from the average?
51. A: energy, intimacy, a spark in the eye, a perfect moment where everything connected.
53. 15. What inspires you?
54. A: Nature, warmth, music, good people you can connect with.
56. 16. What is your favorite shot someone else has taken?
58. A: there are so many, I want to leave this one so it SFW but this whole set of @nemesis in Dorian is a feeling.
