Hi SG Land.
I feel a lot of the time I come up here to vent because I'm sure just like it is to me is as much to many of you one of the few private corners of the internet <3 but today I'm hoping to leave you with a high note.
So during the thanksgiving weekend as you may remember I went to Chicago to shoot <3 there I met the amazing beauty that is @enigma_ which if you haven't checked her last set you should like right now <3 shot by the super talented @penny
I don't know if this happens to you or to other photographers, but I'm right in between the outgoing and the introverted kind, I'm very vocal and ask tons of questions but at the same sometimes I feel shy about talking to some people and specially as a photographer I've always felt like I don't want to cross boundaries about asking people to shoot with me and such.
So Enigma came in to shoot with Penny at the airbnb Penny rented out for the weekend and omg I really really wanted to get to know Enigma because she seemed so sweet and I was like 'I want to shoot with her and such', but Enigma didn't know me and hadn't reach out to me to shoot and I was like 'what am I gonna do (Y_Y) ?' but thankfully @penny slowly helped me out, introduced this awkward woman named Mary and I shot with @enigma_ <3
Long story short, @enigma_ is a babe and is somebody that somehow I felt an immediate connection to, this doesn't happen often since as the years go by I feel I turn more into my solo world and my pursuit of whatever it takes to get me back to my family but omg when somebody comes along the way so unexpected is really a magical moment even when its limited to spending a few days chit chatting and hopefully develop a friendship even in the distance *crosses fingers* <3 of course I hope I get to see and hang out hopefully shoot with @enigma_ again another day but in the meantime I'm happy to reminisce through the set we shot, that moment where I get to know her and remember her giving me a ride downtown afterwards and just being such a kind soul to this soul of mine <3
So please without further adieu enjoy an unedited preview of @enigma_ upcoming set + a film photo of her and another of Chicago winter back then I just got back from the lab (my main roll of film from Chicago I believe died in the Xray machine in the airport Y_Y so no bean or anything from my morning adventures now)
