This is me procrastinating at its finest
No pics to show you this weekend.
I swapped my day work shift today cause I have a design deadline for a private client and sometimes its hard to focus but I'm making progress (in theory this is one of my many breaks)
I kinda miss SG Chat, I could've popped into it in my break and talk to somebody real for a few minutes I guess, oh well, is this adult life in millennial times? not having somebody to talk to randomly sometimes?
My husband left to go to a concert by himself, is a long story of how we ended here basically I somehow sort of isolated us a bit, but then again it took me like 5 years to realize his friends were kinda racists you know and fuck that, who needs friends like that.
This week's been insane because Venezuela is facing the closest moment to freedom we have yet to see since the dictatorship regime in disguise started 20 years ago, of course I write this from my current place in Oakland but with my heart quite heavy back home with my family in my hometown about 4hrs away from Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.
Every day before I went to bed, when I woke up and during work breaks I searched the news or checked in with my sibling to make sure nothing horrible has yet happened while I hear all the 'conspiracy theory' or lines from socialist lovers in this land that don't quite understand how hard has been getting to where we are at in Venezuela, so its been quite hard to focus on anything to be honest.
I'm starting to bake for the place I work for by mid February, have a massive order of cookies for a memorial next week so wish me luck, I wish I had more stamina, more focus and more clear thoughts of what I want but in the meantime I'll just keep doing all the things that make me happy and hope that leads me to a place in which I can help my family and me be once again together in one place.
