My mother passed away on July 1, 2013. She was the best women I've ever known. I can only hope to be half the mother to my kids that she was to hers. RIP Mom. I miss you so very much.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I've lost both of my parents now and they were such wonderful people that I feel like I won the greatest lottery twice. We're never going to stop missing them but I think it's the natural order of things and we will handle it. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and I've been convinced for a long time that your kids are very lucky to have you and your mom was surely very proud of the wonderful woman you are.
