However, we did the exploratory surgery on her and found out that her liver is a little messed up from her not eating. but, this can be reversed. we had to put a feeding tube in her to get her eating again and she is tolerating it really well. we biopsied everything in her, just to be sure, and the pathology report came back with no signifigant findings, except for the liver thing.

Stimpy isn't out of the woods yet, but with a litlle intensive care, she'll be better in no time. she is already back to her happy self (although she is heavily medicated for pain) and she is purring and taking her sun baths. i am so happy- and here i thought the worst. although her problem is a big deal, she will not necessarily die from it. you guys have no idea how relieved i am and how happy this makes me (well, perhaps some of you do), and i want you all to know that she is not suffering in a way that would make her better off dead- i would not do that to her. i was fully prepared to put her to sleep in the event that it was some terminal affliction, but it isn't, so she shall reamin alive and live out her life with me. You guys are great at this vibe thing- perhaps everyone has a little hippie in 'em
