I was supposed to go see Depeche Mode and She Wants Revenge tonight. The show was cancelled due to Dave Gahan having larengitis. At first I was a bit bummed, but then I remembered the Earl and Office season finales were on. I also got to catch Conan, who is in Chicago all week.
Now that I've really thought about it, I'm not THAT into Depeche Mode anyway. Concerts in general are almost always a goodtime: a reason to get together with friends and drink, so I almost never say no. Older Depeche Mode songs, like most early eighties music, puts me in a good mood. I think its partly becuse they remind me of my childhood. I always flashback to playing in the backyard with my he-man figures.
