Three more sleeps til surgery!

I'm nervous, but I think we're pretty well ready to go to Vancouver on Tuesday. Laundry still needs finishing (for packing), and the house needs to get tidied so I can navigate around in my wheelchair when I get home next week.

Kitteh Update

We found an opening at Petsmart for our foster kitten Mog, so we're taking him there tomorrow. I'll be sad to see him go, but he'll have more exposure at the pet store so he'll be more likely to be adopted soon. I've had him for a month now, it's hard to believe!

Looks like Honey and Bee will be staying for a while, at least until I can locate a foster home for Honey with no cats, dogs or kids (which is proving to be VERY difficult). They will have the run of pretty much the entire suite downstairs in our house, because Heckler & I will be away, and the kids and our dog will be upstairs with my brother on the top level of the house (which is where his rooms are). It'll be nice and quiet downstairs for the fraidy cats.



We have our foster Pug, Buster, here for the weekend. I am so super smitten with him! I'm going to miss him when I'm away. He will be coming back (most likely on a permanent basis) as soon as I am recovered enough to have him here. We really just need to play that by ear though... I don't know how I will be managing, and I worry about poor Heckler being sleep deprived.
