What's new?

Hmmm, let me think

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Oh! I got my hair cut, finally biggrin

and... what else?

I love my pets

I also got another care-taker job biggrin My first job is an overnight gig, three nights per week. I look after a person with muscular dystrophy, I get to sleep for most of my shift, being called on a monitor when I'm needed (usually only 3-5 times per night). I like it very much. The second job is along the same lines, looking after an elderly lady at a bed & breakfast (her daughter owns the place).

Unfortunately, I was asked to do more than I really should have agreed to yesterday, and I did it anyway. I used an exacto knife and sliced the carpet in a 15' by 12' room into 3 foot strips, then pulled it up, rolled it, and placed it outside. Then I attacked the underlay, which was GLUED to the linoleum underneath in long strips. I rolled the underlay up, then got to removing the glue residue with a putty knife. Then, I used a flathead screwdriver and a hammer to remove rusted nailboard from the lino & cement underneath. I swept, I scrubbed with a scrub brush (total Cinderalla style), then mopped. After that room was done, I had to dust, vacuum & remove the moudings in a second, smaller room. I thought I'd be done for the day, but then I was asked to take the elderly lady out for a walk. Whew, what a day! I can barely walk because of how sore my muscles are. Normally, the work load won't be as heavy... they just needed help getting that room ready for a new floor.

Wow... I just got a call from my first job, asking me to work the next three nights in a row... which means Saturday morning, I'll drive straight from one job to the next whatever awesome. I haven't worked at a job for five days in a row for a good long while. This'll be fun tongue

I took this pic yesterday after 6.5 hours of work (not including my hour-long commute)... not to shabby, if I do say so myself - for being completely exhausted, anyway.

I don't even like the Jonas Brothers. At all. I think it's just me watching Disney Channel WAY too much.

I do however want to see the Hannah Montana feature film .... Cause I'm a dork.
