My account ran out a little sooner than I had expected - but I'm back now for another year 
Lots of thanks to trocar for that loverly early xmas present.
A few notable things have happened in the 10 days or so that I was gone:
* I sold my townhouse!
* I bought a house house!
* Gary II came back to life!
As swell as all that was, it's been rather emotional, and I don't think I've been a very pleasant or sociable person. But things are looking up. There's a wise person I know who often says: "Any day on this side of the dirt is a good one," so I'm doing my best to look at everything from that perspective.
I'd like to have a party soonish... perhaps in that week between xmas and new year's - does anyone have any cool pot luck-ish recipes they'd care to share? I'm also looking for unique cookie ideas too
