Teletubbies

Okay, I'll admit it - I was one of those teenagers who watched "Teletubbies" recreationally. Po was my favourite (the little red one), but I had a special affinity for La-La, because that's what my brother used to call me before he could pronounce my real name. Kind of a funny aside, because for those of you who know my real name, it's a pretty far stretch, but the little guy was hard of hearing when he was young.

Anyway, I was flicking around this morning on the tube and I come across the show. I'm sucked in, watched the rest of it, and it got me thinking.... remember that little baby in the sun? I'll refresh your memory if you can't

How old do you suppose that kid is now? I mean, I was probably getting high and giggling right along with that sun baby at least 10 years ago... 11 maybe. And the show wasn't really "new" at that point (well, it had just sort of gotten popular in Canada). Hmmm.

Since I had Teletubbies on the brain I thought I'd look for a few pics, freaking golden.

The precision of that drill team is amazing isnt it? For some reason I really like that kind of stuff. But when I see stuff like that I am shocked at the precision that some people hone themselves to.

It reminds me of when I went to Washington DC and saw the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
