It's finally cooled off here. A nice thunderstorm to start the afternoon.
I don't know if I told anyone the reason Im leaving for Florida in 3 weeks. My father is very ill. He let his diabetes get out of control and now he want walk, feel very much anymore and is losing his vision. He's not even 60 yet and had a major heart attack a year ago and is the youngest person in the assisted living home.

This might be the last time he actually see's me or my photographs again. It's that bad. He knows he's dying and wants me to be there to go over his estate and stocks. He wants to make sure I'm taken care of when he's gone.

Im an only child and it wasnt until 5 years ago that my dad and i patched up our differences and became friends. Now im freaking out because the doctors tell me he wont be around long.

Horrible year for me so far with my divorce earlier this year and now this with my dad. The only good things out of this year have been my best friend Sonja and a new friend I really like alot. I guess life moves forward and I have to enjoy now while I have him. I plan on coming back to Wisconsin in a couple of months, but it will be hard.
