Ok! I'm in total geek mode now.. This Women in Media Foundation that works out of RRC was selling a couple of older iMacs (circa 2001) for dirt cheap so I bought them both and carted them home... I just finished installing linux on one. It's going to be the web/transaction server for my lil e-test-business. I have a couple of local bands signed on for websites but I don't trust either of them so once this is all setup I'm going to ask for the money BEFORE building anything for them. One of them screwed me once already. But yes... I've been toying with this open source e-commerce setup that's REALLY cool. So I'm super psyched... I'm going to devote my weekend to setting up the HTTP, DNS and commerce servers.. I'm only really scared about the DNS server cause those things are TWATS to get running right. Either way... It's going o be an interesting weekend cause tomorrow nite me and Caris are celebrating our first meeting by doing the same thing we did a year ago. We're gonna get smashed at Coyotes hen have breakfast at 2am at Perkins next door!
