So things have been pretty boring lately which has led me to sleep more (than usual, which is a lot). That might be ending soon though, I think I'm going to get started on things that I've wanted to do for a while. One of those is a grindcore band. My dad was a pop singer/guitarist/bassist back in the day so I've got the pop sensiblities in me. I typically just play rock, but about two years ago some of my friends got me into grind bands and such. I guess I've always liked loud music and noise so it makes sense. The drumming is pretty sweet as well. I think I might want to do it as a side project, but I think it would be most fun. Worst case scenario, it might suck, but I'll have fun doing it. Funny thing is I think I would have a better chance of duping a label to sign me with a grind type band than with a rock group (that would be most amusing).

In other news, I was talking to a friend today about this proofreader job (yeah, most exciting) that I didn't get a couple months back. Then later I checked my email and the same people wanted to know if I was still interested (even though the interview was in Feb). I guess whoever they hired back then didn't work out or something. I replied yes, since it's a full time job and permanent (unlike the temping I do now). It's also really close (about a mile or so) and would save me a lot of time and gas. However it might be a really boring job, but I'll see (I don't want to jinx it by talking about it too much, which I probably just did). INTERNET!!!
