ahhh, the '90s...these were the gems i loved in my primary years. i used to get excited when MTV or BET would play these now classic videos. i still love them!

















i was really into hip-hop from about 1991-1995, but i can't lie--the grunge era was a high point in rock for me also. enjoy, or ignore!

just watched gordan ramsey's kitchen nightmares on BBC america. aside from treating people like shit, i really like watching what ramsey does. cleaning out the garbage and getting shit done right with plain talk and common sense. i envy people who get to work in a real restaurant. i guess thats why i plan to go back to school. learn me some of that shit....

Where do you work, if you don't mind my asking? I'm at the St Julien in Boulder and I completely understand the crazy balance between busy/on it vs slow/fucking up... And menu changes suck! I'm not looking forward to revising our menu this winter.

just a little mexican place...fast food, not a real restaurant. still, it can be a hassle. i'd like to move up in the business and start working in more traditional dining places, but this is a good way to get my feet wet i think.

I totally agree with you on evolution, but think of all we have accomplished. I mean, we have, through the power of thought, been able to peer back to a brief moment after the beginning of the universe. We've seen, and even experienced planets that, to us, look just like any other star.

We could accomplish so much if we decided to move forward, and abandon these things that hinder us so.
