No Sports Category, either?
my saturday will divided into three parts:
Part the First: wake up and go to the gym.
Part 2: watch Nebraska pummel Texas...now that the Longhorns, finally (and thank God), suck.
Final Part: go to my employees sweet 16 party.
okay, that last one is kinda weird, and the first one doesn't matter, BUT the second part? oh yeah, about time...my friend is a Longhorns fan and I am a Husker fan, so we always make a bet regarding the game. THANKFULLY, it looks good for me this year...but wait? is there a chance for an upset?!?!?!
before you say "no way in hell, you drunk asshole," keep in mind that Texas has beaten Nebraska in the past 6 meetings! BUT, in those six years, NE has had three coaching changes, a new athletic director, and one of the most embarrasing offensive in the Big XII, whilst Texas has had one awesome coach, wona National Championship (which means its easier to recruit) and TWO Heisman Trophy Winners (Ricky Williams and Vince Young)...and the Big XII South has always been a much stronger confrence! In fact, I can't remember the last time the North won the division -I just know it was Missouri, not Nebraska :-(
fact is, Mac Brown knows how to win. Bo Pelini is just getting used to it. Nebraska is also one of those teams that has a history of dissapointing its fans (fans of Cleveland, Buffalo, and Denver teams know what that's like). "But wait", says You, "Nebraska won THREE Championships in the 90s under Osbourne, and went to One National Title Game this decade under Solich!" Weird, I know. but this team was one of the best teams of the 1980s, and didn't ever win a championship! I mean, i can remember at least TWO national championship games against Miami that Nebraska lost in the 80s alone! Not to mention, y'know, firing a great coach for a shitty coach...and then firing HIM and having to start over again!
and something else embarrasing? Check to see the last time Nebraska beat a ranked oponent in regular season. i know TX isn't ranked, but still...it shows they need to learn how to really win games.
...whoa...i got so stoned. i need to go to bed. now.

thanks Special Teams for not letting be a complete embarrasment, and thanks to Bo Pelini for making the necessary, although futile, QB chance when it needed to be made.
