Top US commander: Burning Quran endangers troops

religion doesn't bother me, but religious people do. their thoughts disturb me, and their actions fill me with fear. i'm just as afraid of Christians burning Quran's in Florida as i am with Muslims in Afghanistan threatening to destroy "The Great Satan." They all lead to the same fucking thing, and they all think they're going to win. They won't. Martyrs go the same place as anyone else when they die. And for some reason, after all these years, I'm still surprised at how stupid people are when they have faith on their side. Blind faith is certainly an apt name for the disease these people suffer from. these people would rather inflict pain and cause suffering than live by the word's of their savior. man, if jesus is real, then he must be pissed at how his people have misinterpreted his message of love. fuck it, i don't know why i care. worst thing they can do is get us all killed. once that happens, none of us are gonna know anyways, so...

I totally agree with you on evolution, but think of all we have accomplished. I mean, we have, through the power of thought, been able to peer back to a brief moment after the beginning of the universe. We've seen, and even experienced planets that, to us, look just like any other star.

We could accomplish so much if we decided to move forward, and abandon these things that hinder us so.

that would take a helluva war and alot of forgetting. maybe if we meet some Vulcans or some shit...frankly, i think the future is going to get more extreme. reminds me of the south park with the sea otters .yeah, that was a farce but it had a godo point. we're extreme animals. our heads are too big, but there isn't enough in them to make them work at tip top levels i guess.
