ah man, I don't know how I am going to deal with this much awesomeness every six hours,do you?!? It really excites me that every time I get on my computer I am going to be bombarded with another sexy and intelligent woman!
SO thanks to everyone who has been keeping up with me and letting me know what's going on with you through my journal. I feel like I've been a bad SG for not keeping up with all of my friends and commenting back. I just feel as if my life is caving in around me and my time on the internet has become a lot more limited in the past year. What was once an everyday lifestyle slowly dwindled down to a weekend thing and then trickled down to a measly status where I only briefly log on and peruse through the new sets and then update very quickly every so often. Woe is me.... Eventually I'll be back in the computer realm again. Eventually.
Today I was soooo pissed off that I missed Tony Hawk, Bam, and others at the skate park in Athens. I woke up late with a hangover and made it out there just in time to see a shitty band play. Don't get me wrong, I love all music, but I didn't want to drive allt he way to the other side of town to watch a pop punk band play while the sound system kept cutting in and out. It was a bad first impression to, since I have never listened to thrice play before and they couldn't even keep the show going. Oh yeah, and I was surrounded by 10 - 16 year-olds, one of who kept on hitting on me. WTF?!? Needless to say, I left the skate park livid. I really wanted to go out there and sport some enthusiasm for some of my favorite skaters (there were a good deal of skaters there.)
Other than that, my day was fairly uneventful. I'm trying to think of a topic for my paper. It has to deal with something that influenced the lifestyle of people living in the southern piedmont area (GA, NC, etc.) during the time period of 1875- early 1900s. Yes, this is for the class where we are rebuilding a log house from this time period. So far my lame idea is just to trace the role of women in the community,... if anyone has any better ideas, throw those fuckers right at MY FACE! I will eat them up.
