So, as previously stated, my classes started today. "oh no!" is probably what youa re thinking, but you would be WRONG like a mutha fucka'. I'm taking a class on North American 'Indians' and an intro class for women's studies.

I stroll into my first class to realize that a girl that I met at freshman orientation and who has been in at least one of my classes each semester is my class. The teacher seems to have a fairly dry sense of humor, but isn't too bad.

My second class is right after and I have to bust my ass to get there. I see a great deal of tardies in my future. I walk in and start watching the people stroll in. It's almost as if my class is a scene from a movie. There is a pregnant girl, a girl who speaks very powerfully about being raised by a single mother, a group of 3 football players, random other kids, and yours truly (aka devil's advocate). I don't mean to sterotype anyone, but when the professor asks you to write your personal definition of what a feminist is and you write "a girl who won't have sex" and "a woman that doesn't want to cook and clean" you pretty much stereotyped yourself. I put my two cents into the talks and then sat back and tried so hard not to laugh as the girl sitting next to me starts getting into a heated debate with the football players. Oh, and apparently I have a project to do where I am required to break a gender role/norm and gauge everyone's responses. So far all I can think of is go and apply for construction jobs or dont' shave. There has to be something more shocking than these. Help me!!!!!! I can't wait for this class to start again!!!!!

oh, ... and everyone needs to check out this thread and contribute. I'm searching for fucking hilarious on this one.... don't let me down
